CDEV 7110 - Constructive Conflict Management

Course Description

This class investigates a Constructive Conflict approach to manage conflict in your workplace. Through the analysis of workplace scenarios, you will examine the source of the conflict, the motivation for the conflict of all parties involved and work toward building a solution.

Upon completion of this class you will:

• Identify the importance of addressing conflict
• Recognize the causes and sources of conflict (Healthy and unhealthy)
• Use a constructive conflict model to analyze conflicts in a workplace setting
• Consider conflict in the social-cultural context

This class will provide learners with a Certificate of Participation issued by the University of Windsor Continuing Education. To successfully complete this class learners must actively participate and attend class.
