PDEV 7119 - Constructive Conflict Management
Course Description
This class investigates a Constructive Conflict approach to manage conflict in your workplace. Through the analysis of workplace scenarios, you will examine the source of the conflict, the motivation for the conflict of all parties involved and work toward a building a solution.
Upon completion of this class you will:
- Identify the importance of addressing conflict
- Recognize the causes and sources of conflict (Healthy and Unhealthy)
- Use a constructive conflict model to analyze conflicts in a workplace setting
- Consider conflict in the social-cultural context
Learners who successfully complete both Managing Difficult Conversations and Constructive Conflict Management will receive a Fundamentals of Conflict Management Certificate of Completion. Learners must attend 75% of the classes and submit an assignment to receive a grade of “complete”.

This course is offered through Blackboard Collaborate. Learners will require access to a computer with high-speed internet access.
