Course Description

This course focuses on the development and consistent demonstration of the knowledge and skills required for leadership and advocacy as a Registered Nurse (RN). It is designed to support achievement of the College of Nurses of Ontario’s (CNO) RN Entry-to-Practice competencies (CNO, 2018). As a Registered Nurse leader and advocate, you will be expected to demonstrate professionalism that inspires and influences others while supporting clients to achieve optimal health outcomes especially those who cannot advocate for themselves.

This course is restricted to those enrolled in the Ontario Internationally Educated Nurses Course Consortium (IEN) program.
