Course Description

Virtual teams are becoming a necessity to achieving business outcomes. Participants will be guided through a case-based activity and work in small teams to briefly research issues facing virtual teams. Teams will present their findings to the larger group. Upon completion of the module, learners will be able to:

  • Discuss characteristics of a successful virtual team
  • Develop strategies to overcome challenges virtual teams face
  • Identify team building best practices for productive virtual teams
  • Discuss effective meeting management techniques for virtual meetings
  • Review technology communication tools that support virtual collaboration
