Course Description

In this course students will be provided with opportunities to develop and demonstrate achievement of the College of Nurses of Ontario’s entry-to-practice competencies including the integration of nursing knowledge from the sciences, humanities, research, ethics, spirituality, relational practice, critical inquiry and primary health care principles. The concepts in the course will draw on diverse sources of knowledge and ways of knowing. As such students in the course will be provided with opportunities to learn and consistently demonstrate the ability to demonstrate relational practice, knowledge about growth and development and health and safety in a variety of healthcare settings.
